Get To The Sands Expo & Convention Center And Check In
The Sands Expo & Convention Center is located at 201 Sands Avenue, Las Vegas, NV, 89109-2617. If you are staying in a hotel, familiarize yourself with local eateries as well as the best way to travel from the show to your hotel, be that walking, bus, or taxi.
Use Hopstop for bus, walking and taxi directions to the Sands Expo & Convention Center located at 201 Sands Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
Shuttle Bus—G2E offers a complimentary shuttle bus service to and from official G2E hotels.
Once you get to the Sands Expo & Convention Center, here is how you can check in:
Bring your G2E confirmation print out (this was emailed to you after you registered) to the Express Registration Counters located on level 2 to pick up your badge and badge holder.
Always take note of where you enter the Sands Expo & Convention Center—use something as a landmark so you know where to leave. During the day, take note of landmarks, (a booth, exit/entrance, etc.) as points of reference so you'll always have your bearings in the convention center and on the crowded show floor. If you are going with friends, be sure to identify a central location to meet up if you are going to split up to experience G2E so you can meet up again at the end of the day.
Be Ready With Survival Gear & Tips Once You're At G2E
Shoes—wear comfortable shoes that have a good sole preferably rubber based because you'll be walking and covering a lot of ground at the show.
Water—bring either a Camel-Bak or refillable water bottle to have on the go, all of that walking works up quite a thirst!
Charger—don't forget a charger for your smartphones or camera to charge on-site.
Extra Layers—pack a light sweatshirt or sweater, running around the exhibit floor may make you hot, but once you enter a conference or leave the exhibit floor, you may get a bit chilly.
Pace Yourself—don't rush! You have three days to walk the floor. Take a break every few hours to relax and calm down from the hustle and bustle of the Exhibit Floor.
Breakfast—be sure to have breakfast before heading to the show, even a small amount of food will give you enough energy to carry you until lunch.
Eat On-site—Be sure to grab lunch so you are energized for the afternoon. There are many restaurants in the Venetian & Palazzo hotels for you to choose from, along with two food courts located on the “blockhouses” on the G2E Show floor. PLUS, a food court downstairs in Hall G on Level 1.
