What can you tell us about Caesars Entertainment and what makes it unique?
We run as a meritocracy where results matter not who or what someone knows – it has allowed people like me to earn promotions and contribute at a higher level.

What is your favorite part of your job and why?
As my son says, “Getting to put on people’s vacations” – I have enjoyed thousands of birthday, anniversaries, weddings – the best times and memories of people’s lives and that has been inspiring and joyful.

What’s in store for your property in the future?
We have spent over a billion dollars on my four resorts creating an amazing entertainment district filled with new attractions, hotel rooms, properties, retail outlets and entertainment options. Between Harrah’s, Flamingo, The Linq and Linq Promenade, and Cromwell, we have had quite an amazing run of growth and that continues over the next three years with the 75th anniversary and complete remodeling of The Flamingo and the opening of Caesars Forum convention center.

What is your favorite piece of advice to give gaming industry professionals early in their career?
Get out of your comfort zone and learn multiple disciplines. I first worked in hotel operations, then revenue management and marketing and then gaming operations.  It has been helpful to me as President to really understand the various lines of our business at a detailed level.

What are the top three trends you see leading the transformation of the gaming industry?
Technology and innovation disruptors – especially in the mobile space; additional entertainment and attraction options to enhance overall experience; and ability to attract better and more diverse talent to our industry.

What are your most memorable moments from a G2E show?
Global Gaming Women Lean In Breakfast – Having another sellout at this event and the opportunity to network with 400 women in our industry is so powerful.

What do you think will be the biggest topics of discussion this year at G2E?
Sports betting, skills based gaming and esports.

What are you most looking forward to at G2E 2019?
New technologies to make our employees jobs easier and guest experiences friction-less.

What type of products are you looking to source at G2E this year?
Out of the box new ideas, things for us to experiment and try out.
