What is happening with G2E 2020?

Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2020 scheduled for October 5-8 in Las Vegas has been canceled due to uncertainty around global travel restrictions and currently unknown guidance on large public gatherings this fall. While we cannot convene in person in 2020, G2E is committed to facilitating economic, education, and networking opportunities for the global gaming industry through a series of virtual G2E events throughout the rest of the year.

In the coming weeks, our team will be rolling out additional information on G2E 2020 virtual offerings.

G2E 2021 will take place October 4 - 7, 2021 (Education: October 4 – 7|Expo Hall: October 5-7) at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. Please see our website for more information.

What is the G2E cancellation policy?

All amounts paid for exhibit space or media to date for the G2E 2020 edition will be or can be credited and used as follows in any combination:

  • Towards participation in the October 4 - 7, 2021 edition of G2E
  • Towards participation in G2E virtual offerings
  • Participation in G2E digital sponsorships or other G2E virtual event sponsorships (pending availability), must be fulfilled by G2E 2021 live event.

The credit can be applied to your outstanding balances for any event for which you are already contracted to participate or to new contract(s) listed above. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your options further, please contact your G2E Sales Representative.

Refunds can be requested upon approval. A 20% retention fee will be collected on the contracted obligation, due to sunken costs incurred by Reed Exhibitions for the 2020 event and contractors/suppliers.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation?

For the Venetian/Palazzo, your hotel reservation will be fully refunded in 5-7 business days and you should receive a communication regarding this matter. For any additional questions, please call the Venetian/Palazzo directly:

How do I cancel my flights?

G2E does not handle changes or cancellations regarding airfare. Please contact your airline directly to make any changes to your flight(s).

Currently, many airlines are waiving change fees for new and previously booked travel. We have provided links to the change fee waiver statements of the major US carriers below. We encourage you to check their website to confirm you have the most up to date information for your airline. Please note that the change fee waiver typically allows tickets to be re-booked for future travel with that airline waiving any change fees; the ticketholder is still responsible for any cost difference of the future fair.
