Dawn M. Himel is the Deputy Director of the Gaming Division of the State of Louisiana Attorney General's Office. She was in private practice prior to joining the Gaming Division in 2010. She has worked in the Licensing and Compliance, Adjudication, and Litigation sections, and has also served as the Section Chief of Licensing and Compliance for the Gaming Division. Born and raised in Central Florida, Ms. Himel earned a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies with minors in Marketing and Business from the University of Central Florida. She earned her Juris Doctor and a bachelor's degree in Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University.
