Jennifer Shatley is an insightful and experienced responsible gaming executive with a 20 year career background that has involved extensive leadership to achieve current and future goals surrounding the progression of gaming policy and compliance. As a thought leader in the gaming industry, Jennifer has been the catalyst for the development and innovation of numerous firsts in responsible gaming. Jennifer currently provides consulting services on all aspects of responsible gaming as the principal consultant for Logan Avenue Consulting, LLC. Joining Harrah's in 1997, which eventually became Caesars Entertainment, the largest U.S. casino operator, Jennifer navigated a series of promotions through the market research and analyst ranks until 2001 when she became the first Manager of Code of Commitment. She quickly progressed through the ranks culminating in the Vice President of Responsible Gaming Policies and Compliance. Serving as the Vice President of Responsible Gaming Policies and Compliance, she led the development, implementation and administration of the company's responsible gaming programs. She conceptualized and created first-of-its-kind responsible gaming training in the US, developing the role of Responsible Gaming Ambassador designed to further business practices to promote responsible gaming. Her innovation led to the development of the industry's first patented responsible gaming IT application that leveraged technology to improve compliance and allow for tracking and implementation of responsible gaming policy and regulatory mandates. Jennifer continues to advise Caesars Entertainment on responsible gaming policies and programs. Jennifer is a highly sourced speaker and advisor to a multitude of organizations, casinos, tribal councils, states and countries considering legalizing gambling within their jurisdictions. She has presented at numerous problem gambling/responsible gaming conferences both domestically and internationally and works closely with the treatment community, academics, researchers, government bodies, problem gambling councils and gaming industry representatives to address problem gambling issues. In addition, she serves as a member of the National Council on Problem Gambling and as the President for the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling, previously serving on the Nevada Governor's Advisory Committee on Problem Gambling, serving as the Chair for the Sub-Committee on Problem Gambling Prevention, as well as serving on the board of directors of the National Center for Responsible Gaming (2005 – 2014).
