Laurie Jamison is the Assistant Director of Crisis Management and Response (CMR) at Wynn Las Vegas. In this role, Laurie has played an integral role in creating and developing the Wynn CMR department. She was responsible for researching, acquiring, implementing and deploying a personal safety device for over 3,000 employees to utilize while at work to ensure their safety. She personally facilitated many training classes to ensure employees are accurately trained on the proper use of the device as well as the system. As Assistant Director in CMR Laurie has led efforts in improving the company's crisis communication plan, revising and testing the emergency evacuation plans as well as revising the Business Continuity Plan. Laurie joined Wynn Las Vegas in April of 2004. She has held various Human Resources positions within the company ranging from recruitment to employee relations to training and development. She has successfully trained many leaders on how to better lead and mentor their teams. Her training has led to growth and development for many employees within the company. During her long tenure with the company she has opened three properties Wynn Las Vegas, Encore Las Vegas and Encore Boston Harbor. Laurie's continual hard work and dedication make her an invaluable asset to the company. Prior to joining Wynn, she started her human resources career at Neiman Marcus in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was responsible for all HR functions within the store including recruiting, training, payroll and benefits.
