With 20 years of experience in hospitality and marketing combined, Josh Swissman has been the driving force behind marketing for several properties on the Las Vegas Strip since 2005. Before joining Station Casinos as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President, Swissman spent the past 15 years directing all aspects of casino marketing for multiple departments, including online and social gaming, mobile betting, casino loyalty programs, direct marketing strategies, and special event campaigns targeted to casino guests. Swissman's passion for the hospitality and marketing industry began early on in his life, in 1999 as a Front Desk Clerk at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. While earning his master's degree in business administration in 2003 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he worked as the Special Projects Manager at The Mirage Hotel and Casino and became the Director of Planning and Analysis for MGM MIRAGE Online soon after. His determination and eagerness to develop new talents led to his position as Manager of Reporting and Analytics for MGM MIRAGE Loyalty Marketing in 2004. His professional journey provided him a breadth of experience in the casino marketing industry across several casino properties. Working as Executive Director of Casino Marketing at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and moving on to become the Vice President of Casino Marketing, he was able to refine his analytical skills and marketing abilities to deliver compelling broad-based marketing campaigns and create an impressive Butler Services group to complement the casino marketing department for Mandalay Bay. Swissman continued to gain valuable experience as Vice President of Slot Operations, then Vice President of Marketing at The Mirage Hotel and Casino. While at The Mirage, he gained broader knowledge surrounding operational departments, such as slot marketing and slot analytics and campaign and database management, as well as perusing new partnership opportunities for the property in support of casino events and promotions. Prior to joining Station Casinos, Swissman continued his career path serving multiple roles at MGM Resorts International, between 2011 and 2018, including Vice President of Corporate Marketing, Senior Vice President of Loyalty Marketing, Senior Vice President of Direct Marketing, and Senior Vice President of Interactive Marketing. Here he strengthened his knowledge in strategy development and promotional initiatives while developing direct marketing strategies for 13 Las Vegas properties and the M life Rewards loyalty program, which would prove valuable assets for his future professional endeavors at Station Casinos. Swissman joined Station Casinos in 2018 as the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President, overseeing multiple brands within the portfolio and is regarded highly in the hospitality industry based on his years of experience working on the Las Vegas Strip. A Las Vegas native, he spends his time away from taking the casino marketing industry by storm with his wife and two children.
