Lisa has had a decades-long career that has spanned the worlds of entertainment, television, feature films, giant screen/specialty cinema, financing, film distribution and education, both nationally and internationally. She specializes in creating and synthesizing high-end media programs with integrated cross platform elements, designed to inspire, illuminate and generate tangible, measurable impact. During a long tenure at National Geographic, she ran theatrical film distribution and marketing, and spearheaded dozens of media projects, including executive producing DeepSea Challenge with James Cameron, and producing large format blockbusters Mysteries of Egypt (with Omar Sharif) and Sea Monsters 3D. Her work has taken her all over the globe, from Mongolia to the Arctic, from the Amazon to Africa, from Iran to the depths of the Baltic Sea and more. As the Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner at SPE Partners, she has opened National Geographic's first-ever branded entertainment space in Times Square using cutting-edge technology and immersive media. Called National Geographic Encounter, the venue in Times Square opened with Ocean Odyssey, an immersive virtual ocean experience where high tech meets the deep sea.
