Sports Betting Symposium Returns to G2E in First Year Since Federal Ban Lifted

LAS VEGAS – Registration for Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2019 is now open. The world’s premier international gaming trade show and educational event presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and organized by Reed Exhibitions will once again take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Center from October 14 – 17 (Education 14-17 | Expo Hall: October 15-17).

G2E 2019 is the largest gathering of global, commercial and tribal gaming professionals in North America. With expanded educational tracks and firsthand experiences with new products, G2E 2019 will cater to everything from traditional casino fare to sports betting and non-gaming amenities to digital products.

The Sports Betting Symposium (SBS) will return to G2E after the overwhelming success of last year’s program, with next-level education content and more sports betting exhibitors than at last year’s show. The symposium will gather experts from around the world to share their experience since the United States Supreme Court struck down the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) last May, opening the gates for states and sovereign tribal nations to legalize sports betting and establish safe and effective frameworks for consumers.

“G2E 2019 will bring the most innovative and cutting-edge gaming professionals in the world together to grow and accelerate the future of gaming” said Bill Miller, president and CEO of the American Gaming Association. “This is a monumental time for sports betting in America, and with so much progress since our inaugural Sports Betting Symposium last year, we’re excited to expand the program to explore the latest in this brand-new U.S. market and continued growth opportunities for states and sovereign tribal nations.”

“The gaming industry has incredible momentum right now and continues to undergo change at an unprecedented pace. G2E is the platform that brings the industry together to experience extensive educational opportunities, hands-on experiences and networking with stakeholders from around the world to advance their businesses.” said Korbi Carrison, G2E’s event director. “G2E truly is a must-attend event for industry leaders looking for what’s new and what’s next in gaming.”
