In 2019, UNLV and Caesars Entertainment announced their unique public-private partnership Black Fire Innovation. Black Fire, housed in the flagship building of Las Vegas' Harry Reid Technology Park, is being purpose-built to disrupt the gaming, hospitality and entertainment industries. Featuring a first-of-its-kind integrated resort living lab, Black Fire will serve as a launch pad for student learning opportunities, start-ups and industry collaboration.
