In the wake of the historic Supreme Court ruling overturning the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA), states and tribes have found themselves at the forefront of offering and regulating sports wagering. With this change comes questions: what is necessary to offer sports wagering; how will it be regulated; what role do tribes play in this new segment of gaming in Indian Country and commercially? In this session, tribal leaders, state and federal legislators, gaming management and tribal gaming regulators will explore the sports wagering landscape and learn ways to navigate their course in this new territory.
