Every industry requires a constant refresh of its offer in order to attract new customers and the casino space is no different. The term "millennial" has been a buzzword for nearly a decade, throwing casino operators into a frenzy of tactics to market to this new group of consumers. Few have tried, and even less have succeeded in cracking the code on how to successfully market to this group of consumers. This session explores new customers and encourages operators to refine their strategies beyond the "millennials and non-millennials" approach. •Who are millennials and what are their characteristics? • Are "millennials" really that different from other consumers in today's world? • What efforts have been undertaken to attract millennials and how have they fared? • Should casinos be building products and experiences specifically for this generation of consumers? • If not millennials, then who?
