This session will provide practical information about how you can safeguard your business and manage friendly fraud risk without hindering business operations or eroding customer and staff trust. Topics will include: • How online operators, regulators, and law enforcement and can leverage location and device data for fraud analyses and financial crimes investigations. • Explanation of the fraud data "easter eggs" found in everyday online gaming and sports betting traffic. • Case study of data analytics applied to payment fraud/identity theft. • Assessing fraud risk related to new technology • Developing internal controls to mitigate fraud risk while also allow being able to fully leverage the efficiencies related to new technology. • Continuous monitoring of internal controls and fraud risk exposure so adjustments can be made when previously unrecognized risks are discovered.
