Non-gaming revenues have grown steadily for operators, such that they are well exceeding the returns and growth of gaming. From nightclubs to restaurants to pool clubs and entertainment, there are numerous critical ways that design and outlet selection are incorporated into the overall resort's revenue model. For some, non-gaming elements have moved from loss-leader attractions to mission-critical profit spinners. For decades, casino floors have primary consisted of transactions between customers and machines.
