Growth in the gaming industry is a springboard for building expansion and new development. This discussion will be valuable to owners, and facilities staff, investing in their built asset by rehabilitation of their existing buildings, additions and new construction. Lack of critical knowledge, low cost and expedited construction, have resulted in failures of the building enclosure. These failures are costly to repair or replace, and result in leaks, mold, condensation and lack of energy efficiency. We will discuss how informed decisions before and during the design process can reduce future maintenance costs concerns.
