General Education Sessions

Global Gaming Expo 2023 kicks off with G2E Education bright and early on Monday, October 9 at 9:00 AM. Spanning three days and 12+ topics, G2E Education general sessions provide you with actionable insights that will define the future of gaming. Be sure to visit Venetian Ballroom F at 5:00 PM on Monday, October 9, for the G2E Kickoff Reception celebrating the first day of G2E 2023, following the Monday keynote presentation. G2E Keynotes
In what is now an annual tradition, G2E Keynotes will also kick off on Monday, October 9 at 3:50 PM in celebration of Indigenous People’s Day. Join Indian Gaming Association Chairman Ernest Stevens, Jr. as he moderates, Shattering Ceilings: Women Leaders in Tribal Gaming, a discussion celebrating the influential roles women hold in tribal gaming, business, and politics, featuring:

  • Stephanie Bryan, Chair & CEO, Poarch Band of Creek Indians
  • Melanie Benjamin, Chief Executive Officer, Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe
  • Fawn Sharp, President, National Congress of American Indians

The Tuesday, October 10 keynote, sponsored by Everi, will begin at 8:30 AM with American Gaming Association President and CEO, Bill Miller, giving a welcome address exploring the state of the industry, the latest in AGA research, priorities for the future, and more. Following his remarks, CNBC’s Contessa Brewer returns to host the popular, View from the Top: CEO Outlook 2023, a three-part discussion with top operators CEOs providing their outlook on business, opportunities in today’s market, and where the industry is headed. You will hear from:

  • Bill Carstanjen, CEO, Churchill Downs Incorporated
  • Jette Nygaard-Andersen, CEO, Entain
  • Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and president, MGM Resorts International

The final keynote, on Wednesday, October 11 at 9:00 AM, is The Playmakers: A Conversation with Amy Howe and Jason Robins, presented by Sportradar, and explores how a five-year post-PASPA world, the evolution of sports, innovation in technology, and the growth of legal sports betting have redefined the fan experience. This keynote discussion will dive into the state of online gaming, trends on the horizon, and what’s next for these industry leaders:

  • Jason Robins, CEO & Co-Founder, DraftKings

G2E Workshops

New for 2023, G2E Workshops will provide a deep dive into topics directly affecting your day-to-day operations. Each workshop is led by the best and brightest in the industry, and with a run-time of two and a half hours (more than twice the length of a standard education session) will leave you with actionable tools that you can implement into your business right away. Taking place on Thursday, October 12, the workshops will cover the following topics:
