G2E News: Celebrating 25 Years of G2E
G2E 2025 marked a significant milestone, 25 years of bringing together the global gaming industry. This year's event was a testament to the industry's dynamic energy and forward momentum. For a quarter-century, G2E has convened the global gaming community, and the 2025 edition showcased the sector's incredible strength and diversity. G2E highlighted how the industry continues to expand into new verticals while embracing transformative technologies.
The Venetian Expo buzzed with activity as approximately 25,000 industry leaders and professionals from over 120 countries, regions, and territories gathered for G2E. With nearly 400 exhibitors, the Expo Hall was a vibrant display of the latest technologies shaping the future of gaming. The atmosphere confirmed what operators and exhibitors alike noted – G2E remains the central meeting point for the global gaming industry.
A major standout of this year’s G2E was the inaugural G2E Dealer Championship. The competition brought exciting new energy to the Expo Hall, celebrating the incredible talent, precision, and showmanship of casino dealers. Thirty-four dealers from across the country competed for the title of "Best Dealer in America," with Elleonor Leonardo Hoffman from Graton Resort being crowned the champion.
To meet the growing demand in the online gaming sector, the iGaming Zone debuted the G2E iGaming Hub. This dedicated area provided a focused environment for iGaming solution providers and operators to learn, explore new technologies, and discuss the future of the digital gaming ecosystem.
The G2E Education program also took center stage with more than 100 sessions addressing critical topics such as AI, sports betting, and evolving regulatory frameworks. Sessions equipped attendees with actionable insights to navigate and thrive in the rapidly changing gaming landscape.
