G2E ANNOUNCES BONUS MAIN STAGE CONTENT ON THE UNITED FRONT AGAINST PREDICTION MARKETS; UNION, CONGRESSIONAL, COMMERCIAL & TRIBAL GAMING LEADERS

LAS VEGAS (September 21, 2026) — The Global Gaming Expo, presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and organized by RX, today announced a bonus main stage session on the united front against "prediction markets" for Tuesday, Sept. 29. This additional session will provide insights from leaders with unique points of view regarding prediction markets’ impact on the gaming industry.  

"Collaboration both across and beyond the industry is critically important in preserving and protecting the state- and tribal-regulated gaming market, it’s employees, consumers, and the communities we serve,” said Bill Miller, President and CEO of the American Gaming Association. “In the midst of "prediction markets’” brazen encroachment, our panel of leaders will showcase the strength of our unity." 

Miller will host union, gaming, and congressional leaders to discuss why they are involved and how "prediction markets” are affecting the people they represent. 

“UNITE HERE, the Tribal gaming industry, and the commercial gaming industry are standing side-by-side in a campaign to end illegal prediction market gambling. This is a pivotal moment to come together as a coalition to face an unprecedented challenge,” said UNITE HERE’s President, Gwen Mills. “Prediction markets are threatening the livelihoods of casino workers throughout the country.  Our members are casino housekeepers, bartenders, servers, cooks, and dishwashers. Together with responsible gaming employers, we have built a union standard with high wages, access to affordable health insurance, and the ability to retire with dignity. We are now united for a common goal – upholding Tribal, state, and federal law and protecting jobs.”

Prediction markets have quickly evolved into one of the most significant challenges facing state and tribal gaming. As litigation unfolds and regulators debate jurisdiction, the industry must move forward with a coordinated response. This discussion examines why unity matters, how the regulated industry can align legal, political, and public policy strategies and what collective action may be necessary to protect gaming, sovereignty, and regulatory authority.

Earlier this month G2E announced its initial main stage sessions for Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday morning will feature AGA CEO Bill Miller's keynote, a CEO panel on the state of the industry moderated by CNBC 's Contessa Brewer, followed by a conversation with Wayne Gretzky and BetMGM’s Adam Greenblatt. On Wednesday, Global Gaming Women is hosting activist Elizabeth Smart on resilience in the workplace.
